The details, answered.
01Does the core function require the app?+
No. The 60-second cycle covers the measured hardness range without the app. GPS and 360+ city profiles add locally tuned timing and refill-life guidance.
02Is PERLUO built for travel?+
Yes. At 24 × ⌀7 cm and 400 g empty, it fits carry-on luggage and works at any hotel sink. The battery powers only the interface—the OLED display, touch key, and LED ring—not the wash cycle itself.
03How long does a refill last?+
20 washes per refill at 200 ppm hardness · model-based, usage- and location-adjusted. The USD 149 launch bundle includes ten ZeoChel refills—approximately 200 washes in total.
04Is PERLUO a drinking water filter?+
No. PERLUO treats the water you wash with, reducing hardness and capturing trace copper in the lather and final rinse. It isn't designed to filter taste or chlorine from water you drink.
05Where does the captured copper end up?+
Sealed in the spent refill, not down the drain. The device and the media cage are kept—only the low-mass refill is replaced, and the media contains no added heavy metals.
